Hong Kong Ocean Park is located on the south end of Hong Kong Island. The larger of two sections is on the headlands of Nam Lang Shan Mountain. The smaller section is in the Wong Chuk Hang Valley lowlands. With an area of 170 acres, it's one of the largest ocean parks in the world.
Cable Car Leaving the Waterfront Station
The Ocean Park Cable Car gets from the Waterfront to the Summit and back, but more than just a transportation option, it is an attraction in itself with some of the most interesting views of the bays... Besides the amazing panoramas and the great photo opportunities, the cable car ride gives a great chance to get bearings around the park.It takes about 15 minutes for the 1.5km one-way ride and each individual cable car has room for 6 people.
Cute Pandas at Ocean Park Hong Kong
Ocean Park has four prized residents, the two couples of cute pandas which are a magnet to visitors and a must-see, specially if you have never seen these rare. The Giant Panda Habitat is home to Jia Jia (female) and An An (male), this couple of Giant Pandas arrived in Ocean Park in 1999.
