(11) i-CITY SHAH ALAM, MALAYSIA

i-City is a wonderful crystal in the rapidly developing city of Shah Alam. It is part of the popular Shah Alam International Park, which is a commercial area with the aim of attracting both local and international investors. Although some sections of i-City have been completed, it is expected to be fully developed by i-City Properties by 2015. Sitting on 72 acres of land, it will have 8 office towers, 2 luxury hotels, 2 residential blocks, and 3 to 5-storey shop-offices and retail suites. As i-City has been designated as an MSC centre, it has features suitable for any potential technopreneurs, such as 20mbps high speed broadband connection and round-the-clock data centers.

Visitors are welcome to a fortunately themed park to take a breath of fresh air and enjoy the aura of a pure vision of peace, riches and good health. At one end of CityPark, visitors will walk between rows of Chinese cherry blossoms and spot LED peacocks and other creatures of the forest at a nearby pond covered by the digital lights.

i-City is providing a new experience for all Malaysians. Now, people can feel that new technologies can not only be used for multimedia and communications but also for celebrating our various festivals and holidays in Malaysia.

Last but not least, the most new attraction that was opened to the public in March 2011 was the Snowalk, a 50,000 square feet environment 5°C below zero. This is a good experience for those who want to experience a change of environment. There is also an indoor theme park with video games, horse riding and games for enjoyment.
